Psychodynamic counselling for sex workers

A confidential space for reflection, meaning and interior life.

Counselling to help you understand yourself

Are you ready to explore the deeper layers of your experiences?

Counselling is not just about coping; it’s about understanding yourself on a profound level. For sex workers, that means considering how your past has shaped who you are today, and how those experiences influence your present life. If you’ve been reflecting on your upbringing, identity, and the emotional terrain of your work, I’m here to accompany you through that exploration.

How Does Therapy For Sex Workers Work?

The structure is the same as any counselling. This is a space for you to feel comfortable, ask questions, and see if my approach resonates with you.

Sessions are £55 each, payable by bank transfer. I also offer reduced fees for those experiencing financial hardship—because I understand that financial stress can be an added burden.

The recommended structure is weekly sessions for as long as is helpful.

Who Is This Service For?

This counselling service is dedicated to people who identify — now or in the past — as sex workers, across all areas of the industry, whether in-person, online, or phone-based. It’s for those who feel it matters to work with a counsellor who brings lived experience of sex work alongside professional training.

I recognise that sex work encompasses a wide range of realities and identities. You are the expert in your own life, and our work together will honour your knowledge, autonomy, and complexity.

You don’t have to talk about your work directly in sessions—if your needs lie elsewhere, we’ll focus on what matters most to you. You may want to explore how your experiences have shaped you emotionally, or you might need support with challenges that go beyond your work.

What Kind of Counselling Do You Provide and What Qualifications Do You Have?

I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor, which means I focus on understanding the unconscious patterns that influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We’ll explore your past experiences, especially those that have shaped your identity and your relationship with sex work.

My sessions are 1-to-1, confidential, and conducted online. My work is trauma-aware, with a particular focus on the complex dynamics surrounding sex work. The sessions are deep, reflective, and tailored to your unique needs.
