Hi, I’m Ben
I work with adults who learned early that being needed, capable, or accommodating was safer than being fully themselves.
You may function well in the world — yet in close relationships find yourself disappearing, over-giving, or feeling quietly ashamed of your needs.
Our work explores how these patterns formed — not as weaknesses, but as intelligent ways you survived and belonged. Over timehis can reduce the sense that something is fundamentally wrong with you, and make it easier to speak more freely, make different choices, and feel more confident in who you are.
I help people think and feel more clearly when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unable to make sense of themselves.
This work suits people willing to engage consistently and explore themselves in depth, including when things feel difficult, unclear, or emotionally challenging.
Let’s talk…
I offer a free 15-minute call so you can get a sense of how I work and whether we would feel comfortable working together. You don’t need to know exactly what you want from counselling — curiosity is enough.
Much of my work centres on identity, relational trauma, and the subtle ways we lose ourselves in order to belong. Change happens through the relationship we build together, and at a pace that feels right for you.
I welcome clients of all genders, sexualities, and neurotypes, including LGBTQ+ clients.
